What Data We Collect

Data you create in the app:

  • Activity names, log dates and times, and optional notes or details you enter
  • Categories or tags you assign to activities

Data collected automatically:

  • Basic crash reports and performance diagnostics
  • Device type and operating system version
  • Subscription and purchase status (processed by RevenueCat — see Third-Party Services below)

Your activity data is stored locally on your device. We do not upload your personal activity logs to any external server.

How We Use Your Data

  • To provide the core functionality of the app
  • To manage your subscription status and unlock premium features
  • To send reminders and notifications (only if you enable them)
  • To diagnose crashes and improve app performance
  • To respond to support requests

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, the app will send local push notifications generated on your device. No data is transmitted to a server for this purpose. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

Children’s Privacy

Our apps are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at support@essential-it.com and we will promptly delete it.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Export your activity data (available via CSV/JSON export in the app)

To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@essential-it.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Data Retention

Your activity data lives on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app. Subscription records held by RevenueCat are retained per their own data retention policy. We do not retain personal data on our own servers.

Compliance With Laws

We will disclose your personal information where required to do so by law or subpoena.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the date at the top of this page and posting a notice in the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
